Univera Takes Cancun 2020

We interrupt your regularly scheduled blog post for this exciting announcement!

To keep your momentum up during this time, from March 16th – 29th, 2020, we will be offering double points on all activities related to achieving the incentive trip! Double points on new Associates? Yes! Double points on new Customer sales? You bet! Double points on BV?! Absolutely! Please note, double points only count towards qualification of the incentive trip, not for commissions.

Univera is taking Cancun this summer! You can’t miss this chance to join us on a beautiful vacation to Cancun, Mexico. Enjoy relaxing by the beach or pool, sipping a drink, and snacking on fresh Mexican fruit. The trip will be the first week of August (specific dates to come) and your prize will consist of a 3-night stay at a luxury, all-inclusive hotel and $500 towards airfare. Ground transportation will not be included.

The qualification period for the incentive trip runs from January 1 – June 30, 2020. There are three ways to earn your way to beautiful Cancun. Each pathway is designed based on your experience level within the company. We recommend the Road to Success pathway below for those who are new, the Cumulative Volume Pathway for those who are familiar with the Univera business and looking to grow, and the Leadership Pathway is geared towards established leaders.

Rules of Participation

  1. Register on the blog or send an email to marketing@univera.com with the following information:
    • Name
    • Associate ID
    • Phone Number
    • Sponsor
    • The pathway you intend to pursue (Road to Success, Cumulative Volume, or Leadership). You may qualify, however, under any pathway which requirements you meet by the end of the qualification period.
  2. New Associates are those who have signed up as an Associate or upgraded from Customer starting January 1st, 2020 or later and remain an active Associate (as defined below in the FAQs) through the qualification period.
  3. New Customers are considered Customers (retail, loyalty club, or gift card) that have a join date of January 1st, 2020 or later.
  4. New Associates brought to Convention 2020 must be in your frontline to receive points.
  5. To bring a guest and/or qualify for a $500 airfare cash bonus, you must qualify for the higher point values listed in the pathways below. Your guest must share the same room as you, your guest cannot be in your downline, and only one $500 airfare cash bonus may be earned per account. You will be responsible for purchasing your own airfare and arranging ground transportation.
  6. You must be an active Associate in good standing with the company to qualify. What constitutes an “active” Associate and “in good standing” is defined in the FAQs below.

The Road to Success Pathway

This pathway is perfect for beginning Associates to use. We have provided a simple point system to follow in order to qualify for the incentive trip. There are four factors to this pathway: recruitment, sales, field participation, and Univera Serve First fundraising. To qualify for the trip for yourself only, you will need 500 points. To qualify yourself and a guest, you will need an additional 200 points. For another additional 200 points, we will offer you $500 cash towards airfare. Points can be earned as follows:

  1. Recruitment:
    • Personally recruit and enroll new Associates in your frontline with 100+ BV in their initial order.
      • This is worth 15 points per new Associate.
      • The new Associate must remain active at least 5 out of the 6-month qualification period.
  2. Sales:
    • $500 in accumulated new Customer sales per month from your frontline Customers.
      • This is worth 20 points per $500 in new Customer sales.
      • This qualification is stackable; meaning $1000 in new Customer sales is worth 40 points, $2000 is worth 80 points, etc.
      • Customer sales will be counted on a per month basis and will not rollover. If you have a new Customer that places their initial order in January, and then purchases again in February, the sale in February will also count towards this qualification.
  3. Field Participation:
    • Attend LDW 2020
      • This is worth 5 points.
    • Register for Convention 2020
      • This is worth 10 points.
    • Register new Associates to Convention 2020
      • This is worth 5 points per new Associate registered for Convention.
  4. Serve First Fundraising:
    • Donate and/or fundraise $250 to Serve First
      • Each donation of $250 is worth 10 points, up to a maximum of $1,500, or 60 points total.

You can use this worksheet to help keep you track to achieve the incentive trip!

Or, you can download this Excel point calculator that we have created for your convenience!

Cumulative Volume Pathway

We recommend this pathway for people who are familiar with the Univera business. This pathway relies 100% on BV (Business Volume) generated in your team. To achieve the incentive trip using this pathway you must generate 13,000 cumulative BV over your baseline during the course of the 6-month qualification period. To qualify yourself and a guest, you must generate an additional 7,000 cumulative BV over your baseline during the course of the 6-month qualification period. If you generate an additional 7,000 cumulative BV on top of that, we will offer you $500 cash to help purchase your airfare.

Your baseline for this pathway will be calculated based on your average BV from Q4 2019 (October, November, & December 2019). You can calculate this by accessing your Back Office reports; we suggest using the “Volume” report. If you need help please email Jorge Reyes, Director of Sales, at jreyes@univera.com. You cannot count the cumulative BV from your downteam if they have qualified for the trip. We suggest if you have a downteam member qualify using this pathway that you consider following the Leadership Pathway!

What does this look like?

In this example, you have an average BV from Q4 2019 of 4,000 BV. In order to qualify for the trip, you need to increase this by an average of 2,167 BV each month (13,000 BV divided by 6 months of qualifying period) to 6,167 per month during the qualification period. To do this, you can continue recruiting Associates and signing up Customers to create width and depth in your organization. You can also encourage your downline (A, B, and C in this example), to produce more volume as well.

Associate A has increased their BV to 2,000, Associate B has increased their BV to 1,800, and Associate C has increased their BV to 2,400 throughout the entire qualification period. This would give you an increase of 2,200 each month. If you held this throughout the qualification period, you would end up with 13,200 cumulative BV over your baseline in the 6-month period; this would qualify you for the incentive trip with 200 BV to spare!

Leadership Pathway

We recommend this pathway for those who have strong downteams and have proven themselves as leaders. This pathway requires you to have 3 different legs qualify for the incentive trip under the Cumulative Pathway with no less than 39,000 cumulative BV over your baseline from the 3 qualifiers. For you and a guest to qualify, you must have an additional leg qualify for the incentive trip under the Cumulative Volume Pathway with no less than 52,000 cumulative BV over your baseline from the 4 qualifiers. If you get another additional leg to qualify for the incentive trip under the Cumulative Volume Pathway, we will offer you $500 cash to help purchase your airfare to Cancun.

Your baseline for this pathway will be calculated based on your average BV from Q4 2019 (October, November, & December 2019). If any of your 3 qualifying legs qualify for the trip using this same pathway, they will not count as a qualifying leg for you. You must maintain your rank from the beginning of the qualification period throughout the entire qualification period. There can exist a one-month grace period, meaning if you drop rank in any given month during the qualification period you must get back to your rank from the beginning of the qualification period the following month. Failure to do so will disqualify you from the incentive trip.

What does this look like?

In this first example, you have three legs, one person from each leg has qualified based on the Cumulative Volume Pathway and have each generated 13,000 cumulative BV during the qualification period. Because of this, you have qualified for the incentive trip!

In this second example, you would not qualify. Why? You have two people in Legs 1 and 2 that qualify for the incentive trip, but since Associate C in Leg 3 qualifies using the Leadership Pathway you cannot count them as a qualifier for you. You would need one other Associate in your downline in Leg 3 to qualify for the trip using the Cumulative Volume pathway.
