Things to Do in Denver

While your time in Denver will be jam-packed with Convention activities, you may enjoy other outstanding experiences in the area:

Dining
We recommend checking online for restaurants in the area that will suit you and your dietary needs best. Here’s a sample of what there is near the Denver Marriott South:

Down the street from our venue is a small local café called Moze Café. It’s described as a “hole-in-the-wall quick bite”, but reviews claim it has excellent food. There are a decent amount of other food options around the venue for tasty food including Newk’s Eatery, Firehouse Subs, Heidi’s Brooklyn Deli, and MAD Greens.

If you are looking for something more substantial or a sit-down dinner there are many options. Sonoma’z is a restaurant inside the Marriott that serves American foods and is described as modern and wine-centric. Other restaurants near the venue include Clock Tower Grill, Cranelli’s Italian Restaurant, Grist Brewing Company, Reeds Southside Tavern (which has a golf simulator), and Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant.

Events & Activities
If you’re arriving early for Convention on Thursday the 19th, there is Spotlight Karaoke at The Tavern Tech Center from 9 pm to 1 am. While we suggest an earlier bedtime than 1 am, you can hit the Tavern for food, drinks, and over 30,000 song choices to please the singer inside all of us.

Explore the city of Denver with a scavenger hunt! The hunt is available 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset. Available through Urban Adventure Quest, you can access the hunt through your smartphone and play at your leisure. For more information visit: http://www.urbanadventurequest.com/.

If you find yourself staying through Sunday the 22nd, there will be a Third Eye Blind concert at Hudson Gardens starting at 7pm. Since the concert takes place at a garden venue, the concert will be outdoors!

For our jazz lovers out there, City Park hosts an event called City Park Jazz every Sunday during the summer. It’s a free concert that the city hosts that includes music, food, and friendly people.

This is a fraction of the events and attractions that are available while Univera is in Denver. To find more check out https://www.denver.org/.
