A common snack and breakfast item, granola, has endured many fad diets and trendy eats. It’s been a staple food item for many for over a century. Unfortunately, many companies try to sell you their “healthy” granola snacks. What you may not realize is that they are jam packed with artificial sweeteners, unhealthy fats, and they often lack the true nutritional value of good homemade granola.
