Instructions
  1. Using a large chef's knife, gently cut each wafer piece into quarters. It helps to keep the knife evenly applied and press slowly, moving the knife back and forth slightly.
  2. Place wafers on a solid surface and decide what fruit to top each with. The pictured Delights have blueberries for the Vanilla Wafers and Raspberries for the Mocha. If you will be using something larger, be sure to cut it into appropriately sized pieces at this point.
  3. Pierce a piece of fruit carefully with the toothpick so that the tip barely sticks out.
  4. Press the tip gently into the center of each ¼ Wafer piece. Firmly but slowly continue to push the toothpick into the piece until you touch the bottom surface.
  5. If needed, slide the fruit down carefully until it rests on the wafer.

Then, have fun!

Display them on a tray or plate so they shine on your snack table. I bet you have some great ideas, but I’ll get you started:

  • Sprinkle a light dusting of cocoa or cinnamon on your plate surface and arrange the Wafer Delights on top.
  • Arrange the Wafer Delights, then sprinkle leftover fruit or a complimentary fruit amongst the fruit and wafer treats.
  • Arrange several edible flowers artfully around your creations.

Enjoy! And be prepared with some extras in the kitchen, because I’m guessing these won’t last long.
