Four Minutes to Better Fitness

In addition to building activity into your day, it’s vital to have a focused and regular exercise program.  But, is making time for the gym holding you back?   Are you intimidated by investing in equipment?  Do you think exercise is boring?

Not to worry! Univera Chief Scientific Officer Stephen Cherniske has a solution for you – fun and efficient Tabata.  The video below introduces you to this wonderful interval routine that you can do in 4 minutes.

A combination of 4 exercises in high intensity intervals is the trick for efficiency; the fun comes from mixing up which exercises you do in each session.  And these are exercises we’re all familiar with—here’s just a sample:

  • Jumping Jacks
  • High Knees
  • Leg Lifts
  • Push Ups
  • Squats
  • Jump Rope
  • Mountain Climbers
  • …and if you do want to add in some equipment, Stephen will show you some ideas for resistance bands!
